Threatening Emails – How To Respond
Have you received a threatening email? Or worse several threatening emails? How should you react?
First let’s go over what you should not do.
Do not reply. Do not threaten back.
Do not complain to their ISP and get their account closed. You’ll destroy evidence.
Now here’s what you should do.
You should always take any kind of threat seriously. You should immediately print out the threat and save the email to a disc. Take this in person to your local police station and make a police report. Then follow up with the police. Ask to have an appointment with the detectives assigned to your case . Make sure you follow up.
Unfortunately many police departments will not take an email threat seriously. They will try to parse the wording of the threatening email and attempt to make light of the threat claiming it can be interpreted in different ways. They may just tell you to turn off the computer, change your email and ignore it.
But stil make the report and stay in touch with them. Checking up on the status of the investigation. Try and meet with them in person and put a face to the names on your report.
If they tell you they don’t have the resources to try to trace the email and identify the sender they are probably right. Unlike CSI on TV not many police departments have a full time computer crimes division and if they do they are probably overwhelmed with cases.
But don’t lose hope. You can hire a private investigator that has the time and resources to locate and identify the sender of the email threat. An investigator that specializes in email investigations has the experience in collecting and preserving the chain of custody of evidence you’ll need for court. Many times they will have contacts with local police and prosecutors and can act as your agent in dealing with the police and assist in getting your case the attention it deserves.
Email threats are serious business and should not go ignored. They are clearly sent from someone that does not understand normal social boundaries and they could easily escalate into a real life in person confrontation. The person making the threats will often target the victims family , friends and coworkers if he is not stopped.
If you decide to hire a professional investigator to handle this problem be sure to check him out first. Some state require Pis to be licensed and or bonded. Do an online internet search to see if the PI has done these types of investigations before. Do they have a good reputation or are there many complaints from unhappy customers?
Beware of software companies offering do it yourself “detective software”. These softwares are deceptive in claiming they can offer unlimited searches for a one time low fee. This is impossible as many of the searches they claim to provide are only available to licensed professionals.
If a deal sounds too good to be true you can be sure that it’s a scam and you should stay away.

Are We Really One World? German Au Pairs and Cultural Differences
With the rising costs of childcare, American families are hosting au pairs in staggering numbers. There has been an increase in the number of au pairs with nearly 22,000 young women residing in the USA last year, up 44% from 2004! This is a dramatic increase and the trend appears to be growing despite the weak economy.
The French term, au pair, denotes a young woman who “lives as an equal” with her host family. Au pair agencies recruit young women from over 55 countries, with China as the newest “hot” placement for sophisticated American families seeking to expose their children to Mandarin.
Despite global connections between countries and the politcally correct phrase “we are all one world” cultural differences exist across Europe, Asia and South America - top areas au pair agencies recruit from. These cultural differences add flavor and spice to the host family’s year with their au pair and both benefit from cross-cultural experiences.
Knowledge of cultural differences is critical to a host family’s success with their au pair -American behavior may be viewed as rude or insulting to an au pair, and Americans can often misinterpret an au pair’s interactions with their children, etc.
One of the more popular countries that Americans prefer when hosting an au pair is Germany. Let’s take a look at why this is true:
The idea of traveling to the United States to become an au pair is a very familiar concept in Germany. These young women are motivated by several factors including a desire to become more independent, to improve their English skills, and to experience American culture. German youth are fascinated with American music, TV programs, Hollywood stars and movies. In addition, young German women know that a year abroad that improves her English is a significant plus on her resume, greatly increasing her job potential once she returns home. Therefore, the au pair program continues to be a highly popular gap year for young women who usually return to Germany to continue at University. Approximately 37% of all au pairs who arrive in the United States are from Western Europe and 23% of that number are from Germany (although in recent years, that trend seems to be declining).
German Culture
- Young people in Germany have much more freedom from their families to socialize and date compared to their American peers. Socializing with friends is very important and German youth go out to pubs from the early age of 16. If your German au pair likes to go out and socialize, do not misinterpret this as ”party girl” – she will most likely be sitting in a Starbucks talking with other German au pairs or visiting our nation’s famous sights to expand her knowledge of America.
- Curfews are not common and there is generally a relaxed and accepting attitude between parents and their adolescent children.
- German youth are generally open-minded, well mannered and tend to be ambitious regarding their careers.
- Germans take family life very seriously and most German families eat together for all meals, including lunch. Government rules allow all shops and businesses to close each day for from 12 noon to 2 o’clock so the family can come together for lunch. No one is late for meals.
- Germans are very private people and greatly value their time alone. It would not be unusual for your German au pair to keep her door shut while she is on her time “off” and during these times you should make sure the children are not barging in and bothering her. She may interpret this behavior as very rude and intrusive.
Childcare
- Discipline techniques include talking to the child, taking sweets away, taking away television or video privileges, or sending the child to their room.
- Corporal punishment is forbidden in Germany
- German au pairs tend to be highly organized and responsible and catch on quickly to the family’s routine.
- Applicants obtain their childcare experience through formal training (in kindergartens, etc.) and babysitting for friends and family.
- German parents (either mother or father) typically stay home with their young children at least until they are old enough to attend kindergarten. Working at home is very common for German parents.
- Your German au pair will expect the children to treat her with respect, to comply with her instructions and to follow the house rules. Unruly or bad behavior is a sign of disrespect and a child who is overly indulged by parents (with toys, sweets, privileges not earned) is considered spoiled as result of poor or failed parenting.
Driving Skills
- Most West German au pairs are excellent drivers. They receive their license at age 18 and the test is much more demanding and time consuming compared to their American peers. Most driving pupils need 20-30 lessons in order to pass the test and there is an hour practical driving test! If any German fails the test more than 3 times, a psychological test is then required by the state.
- Most parents have a car for the teen to practice on and they support their teenagers in getting the license and becoming good, safe drivers.
- German au pairs are exclusively sought out by host parents for their excellent driving skills making them one of the most popular au pairs.
English Skills – West German Au Pairs get an A+
- English is a compulsory subject at the age of 10, but many children start as early as kindergarten. As a result, German youth have competent English skills with many having no or a very slight German accent.
- German au pairs are popular with host parents for their English skills. Host parents typically expect them to help the children with homework and German au pairs are generally very competent in this area.
- West Germans’ proficiency in English is generally better compared to Germans from East Germany – East Germans get a C- in English!
Health
- Germans are typically very healthy. They have good medical and dental insurance.
- Most young women are not inoculated or tested for TB (tuberculosis).
- Eating disorders are not very common in Germany.
- Most young people in Germany eat meat and lots of vegetables and fresh foods are preferred to fast foods/processed foods. A growing number of German youth are becoming vegetarians and you should ask your au pair if she eats meat.
Religion
- The two most common religions in Germany are Catholic and Protestant
- Most young people in Germany do not practice their religion on a regular basis
Other Useful Information
- Most German families have at least one computer with access to the internet and most young Germans have their own cell phones; contacting prospective au pairs is relatively easy during the interviewing process
- Family members usually speak English and can take messages from you if the au pair is not home which is a great plus for you as a host parent.
- German students end their academic year in June and most of the young women apply to arrive in the USA during the summer months but before our school term starts here in the USA so plan to have your German au pair arrive in early or mid August so she can sign up for fall courses at your local college.
- German au pairs are typically serious students and will expect to sign up for courses immediately upon arrival. German au pairs will expect flexibly from her host parents so she can attend her classes without interruption.
- West Germans are generally more educated, are more experienced drivers and possess better English skills compared to East Germans.
- Generally, German au pairs have less trouble assimilating into American culture and do not generally suffer from culture shock. They genuinely like American culture and look forward to their year abroad.
- Most Germans will not extend beyond the 12 months – they will return home to continue their education, start a business or look for a professional job.
With the growing trend of using au pairs as their #1 childcare option, American families are competing with one and another for au pairs who are responsible, mature, good drivers and who speak good, competent English. German au pairs generally meet all of these criteria while adding old world charm mixed with a youthful and modern perspective. Germans are proud of their culture and are usually delighted with our America experience – a wonderful combination for any host family!

The 10 Most Popular Movies of All Time – A Cheat Sheet
Are you a movie dunce? Do you not know your Corleone from your Kurosawa? Would you recognise a lightsaber if it hit you in the face? Well, don’t panic. To help you catch up on your movie knowledge here’s a crash course in the top 10 movies of all time, as voted by the readers of the Internet Movie Database. Careful, though… here be spoilers.
10. Star Wars IV: A New Hope
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away . . .
Luke Skywalker, farmhand and son of Darth Vader, is torn from his home when his aunt and uncle are murdered by Imperial Storm Troopers searching for the stolen plans to the Death Star, a space station with weaponry capable of destroying planets. Luke escapes with his two droids, Jedi Knight Obi Wan Kenobi, smuggler Han Solo and first mate Chewbacca.
After escaping Tatooine, the ragtag crew stumble upon the Death Star shortly after it has destroyed the planet Alderaan. Caught by its tractor beam, their ship is dragged in. While attempting to escape the Death Star the team rescue Princess Leia, held prisoner in the ships bowels. During the rescue Obi Wan sacrifices himself to allow the others to escape.
In a grand finale, Luke destroys the Death Star by firing a missile into a weak spot in the structure of the ship and Darth Vader, is cannoned off into the depths of space.
Quote: I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
Trivia: Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds and James Caan reportedly turned down the role of Han Solo.
9. Pulp Fiction
A movie whose various plotlines are far too intertwined to summarise in a paragraph or two, Pulp Fiction simply tells the story of a day in the life of a group of unusual people—two hitmen, the wife of a gangster, and a boxer who killed in the ring among others.
Edited to tie each story together, the movie often plays out of sequence—to the point where the final scene and the opening scene take place at the same time. Full of pop culture references and quotable lines, Pulp Fiction stays true to form as a Tarantino movie.
Quote: Zed’s dead, baby. Zed’s dead.
Trivia: Vincent Vega (John Travolta) is the brother of Vic Vega, also known as Mr Blonde, in Reservoir Dogs.
8. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Set during the US Civil War, the movie follows the three protagonists Blondie (The Good), Snake Eyes (The Bad) and Tuco (The Ugly) in their search for a hoard of gold stolen by bank robber Bill Carson. All three want 50% of the gold—resulting in a good old-fashioned standoff. Snake Eyes is shot dead, and the honorable Blondie allows Tuco his share of the booty.
Quote: You see, in this world there’s two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.
Trivia: Clint Eastwood wore the same poncho for all three ‘Man With No Name’ movies—without washing it once.
7. Schindler’s List
Schindler’s List tells the true story of Oscar Schindler, a Nazi industrialist who becomes so moved by the plight of the Jewish people during World War II that he devotes himself to saving as many as he can. Even after rescuing over 1,100 Jews from the gas chamber, Schindler bemoans the fact that he could have saved more had he sacrificed everything he had.
Quote: I could have got more out. I could have got more. I don’t know. If I’d just… I could have got more.
Trivia: Steven Spielberg refused to take any pay for the film, claiming that it would feel like he was taking ‘blood money’.
6. The Seven Samurai
Regarded as Akira Kurosawa’s greatest film, the Seven Samurai tells the story of a terrorised village in war-torn 16th Century Japan. Constantly attacked by gangs of bandits, the residents enlist the services of seven ronin, or samurai without masters, to protect them.
Despite initial tensions between the villagers and the samurai, they together successfully defend the village against the bandits. However, their success comes at the cost of the lives of four samurai.
Quote: What’s the use of worrying about your beard when your head’s about to be taken?
Trivia: The three samurai whose characters survived the film were the first three to die in real life.
5. Casablanca
Hiding out in Casablanca, Morocco during World War II, exiled American and former freedom fighter Rick Blaine passes the time running a popular nightspot. Blaine’s tedium is interrupted when Czech Resistance leader Victor Laszlo arrives with his beautiful wife Ilsa—Blaine’s ex-lover.
Blaine holds the key to Laszlo’s safe passage out of the country, and Ilsa offers herself to him in exchange for her husband’s safety. Blaine faces the choice of sacrificing Laszlo to win back Ilsa, but in the end decides to do the honorable thing…
Quote: If that plane leaves the ground and you’re not with him, you’ll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.
Trivia: The line ‘Here’s lookin’ at you, kid’ was voted the 5th most well known movie line in history by the American Film Institute.
4. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
The third and final instalment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Return of the King offers an epic finale to Frodo’s quest (thousands of extras took part in the filming to add to the drama). Finally arriving at Mt. Doom, Frodo is overcome by exhaustion and the stress of bearing the Ring. Helped by Sam, Frodo manages to make his way into the volcano.
At the last moment he finds himself unable to throw the Ring into the magma, choosing instead to wear it. Gollum, surviving Frodo’s earlier attempt on his life, attacks Frodo and bites off his finger, removing the ring. Losing his grip, Gollum falls into the pit along with the Ring, breaking its hold over Frodo and killing Sauron.
With Sauron’s death his army is destroyed, just in time to save the army of Men, poised to fight to the death at the gates of Mordor.
Quote: Come on, Mr. Frodo. I can’t carry it for you… but I can carry you.
Trivia: The Return of the King used over seven times the number of special effects shots used in an average movie.
3. The Godfather: Part II
Split between two timelines, the second instalment of The Godfather trilogy follows Don Vito Corleone through his adolescence in Sicily and New York during the early 20th Century, and later his rise to power as a Mafia Don. It also returns to a point a few years after the conclusion of the first movie, with Michael Corleone running the family interests following his father’s death.
After learning that his brother Fredo has betrayed the family, Michael must order his execution.
Quote: I know it was you Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!
Trivia: Robert de Niro won an Oscar for his portrayal of a young Vito Corleone. De Niro and Marlon Brando are the only actors to win Oscars for the portrayal of the same character.
2. The Shawshank Redemption
Based on a novella by Steven King, The Shawshank Redemption tells the story of Andy Dufresne, a successful banker wrongly convicted for the murder of his wife and her lover. Given two life sentences, Dufresne is sent to the maximum security Shawshank Prison where he befriends Ellis Boyd “Red” Redding, a lifer who helps him adjust to prison life.
Over the next twenty years their friendship grows while Andy has a positive effect on the inmates, helping to establish a prison library and education system. Unfortunately, the mean-spirited and criminal warden beats down Andy’s spirit until he finally escapes through a tunnel that took him two decades to dig.
In a final act of revenge Andy exposes the warden’s crimes, driving him to suicide to avoid being sent to prison. Red is later released on parole, and tracks down Andy to a beach in Mexico.
Quote: Get busy living, or get busy dying.
Trivia: The mugshots of Morgan Freeman as a young man are actually pictures of his real life son, Alfonso.
1. The Godfather
Adapted from Mario Puzo’s seminal Mafia novel, the first instalment of The Godfather trilogy sees Don Vito Corleone, head of the Corleone crime family, struggle with the realities of a changing world. When he refuses to work with drug dealer Virgil Sollozzo in a scheme to push heroin in New York, he falls foul of Sollozzo’s backers the Tattaglia family.
When Vito is wounded in an attempted assassination his son Michael—previously determined to have nothing to do with the family business—volunteers to kill Sollozzo. Following the execution Michael is sent to Sicily to hide out until it is safe to return. After Michael’s brother Sonny is executed by the rival Barzini family, Michael safely returns and takes his place as the head of the family in time to see Vito Corleone die of a heart attack. In revenge for the attacks on his family Michael arranges for the murder of the heads of the other families, to take place during the baptism ceremony of his nephew.
Following the baptism Michael orders the execution of the father of the baptised child—and his own brother in-law—Carlo Rizzi, in retribution for Carlo’s role in setting up Sonny’s death. The movie ends with the widow, Michael’s sister Connie, suspecting that Michael was involved in Carlo’s death.
Quote: I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Trivia: Sofia Coppola, the director’s daughter, played the baby baptised at the end of the movie. She returned to play the role of Michael’s daughter Mary in The Godfather: Part III).
So there you have it. If you’ve been paying attention you should now have just enough knowledge of the top ten movies of all time to bluff your way through a conversation with a movie buff. These bare bones won’t take you far, though, so I suggest you set aside some time, get a big bucket of popcorn, sit back and enjoy the best of Hollywood. You won’t be disappointed.

Third Intifada: NONVIOLENT and with Words Sharper than a Two Edged Sword
On Tuesday November 7, 2006 I traveled to the village of Maghar in the Galilee, home to 18,000 inhabitants. 60% of the people are Druze. Christian and Muslim are evenly divided, although the Christian Exodus has increased since 2005 at an alarming rate.
One percent of Israeli society are Druze, which is an offshoot of Islam with secretive practices and meeting places. The Druze originated in Egypt in the 11th century and today they number about 70,000 in Israel. While the Druze had lived in peaceful community throughout the centuries with Christians in Israel, in February 2005 violence erupted.
Rumors had circulated that a Christian had posted a photograph of a Druze female on the Internet and as a result of the unverified rumors 3,000 Druze youth took to the streets and attacked, vandalized, burned and destroyed 120 houses and stores and 125 cars belonging to Christians.
Attorney Haytham Abdalla, Advocate for St. George Melkite [Greek Orthodox in communion with the Roman Catholic Church which has married priests] of Maghar stated, “No one was killed, but these youth were all armed. The Druze serve in the Israeli army in the West Bank and in Gaza. If we Christians would have resisted, they most likely would have shot us. After these youth serve in the army, they return home thinking they can do anything and they take their anger out on us Christians.
“For three days they terrorized us and the Israeli police did nothing but watch the destruction of our property. The big problem is the State of Israel does not protect the Christian, and they claim everything they do is for “Security.” One day after the attack the police did announce there never was such a photograph on the Internet. But the police never did anything to protect us or our property. They just watched it happen. We are like the first century Christians, we are attacked and have no support. That is Israeli state policy. An Israeli TV station did come here and shot video, but the police forbid them to air it for “security” reasons.
“Right after the attack the Israeli Minister of Education issued an order that Christians were not allowed to attend the public school in Maghar. The parents were too afraid to send them back there anyway, and now 90% of our children study in Canna or Nazareth. They all attend private schools which are expensive and the parents must transport their children. Only one of our youth attends the public school now because his family can not afford private school. Every day he is beaten and every time his father reports it to the Principal, he is told they will take care of the situation, but nothing ever changes. This young boy use to be very calm, but now he is angry all the time, always under pressure, always being beaten and the school system and the Israeli police do nothing.
“Fifteen years ago a policy was instituted by the Israeli government to get rid of all the Christian teachers from the public school system. There are 400 people who work with the Maghar city council, but only four are Christians. We Christians don’t belong to this village, it is like we are living in a hotel, we just sleep here.
“We Christians in the Holy Land are always on the losing side. We face discrimination from the State of Israel, from the Druze and even some Muslims. Everyone is against us! In Maghar most of the Muslims are neutral about us, and we are all afraid to join together because then the Israeli forces will shoot us all!
“We once were a vibrant Christian community, but now our church is the only church in a Druze neighborhood. Fifty years ago there were only Christians in this neighborhood, but they have left. My son is three and unless things change, when he is five we are leaving too.
“But, yet we have many volunteers who want to change the situation. We want to build a Christian school. We have room on the church property, what we lack is money and outside support. We look to you to tell our story.”
On May 14, 1948 The Declaration of the establishment of Israel affirmed:
“One the day of the termination of the British mandate and on the strength of the United Nations General Assembly declare The State of Israel will be based on freedom, justice and peace as envisaged by the prophets of Israel: it will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion it will guarantee freedom of religion [and] conscience and will be faithful to the Charter of the United Nations.”
When Israel became a State it was contingent upon upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which Israel denies, ignores, defies and “Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law…
Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world” [Preamble Universal Declaration of Human Rights]
May We the People of the world unite in International Solidarity and Rise Up/Intifada in nonviolent resistance and with words sharper than a two edged sword and demand Israel uphold the rule of law and what they agreed to.
There will never be peace nor security without JUSTICE and Human Rights for all because whenever there is “disregard and contempt for human rights [it has]resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind” [Ibid]
May We the People of the world unite in International Solidarity and demand Israel uphold ALL Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, specifically citing:
Article 1.
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Article 2.
Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.
Article 3.
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
Article 8.
Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.
-Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages.
-Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace.
Article 30.
Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or person any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth herein.
I close my case with Article 19 and will NOT shut up, until the Mainstream Media-the Fourth Estate in the USA does it’s job. Until that happens civilian journalists/bloggers must Rise Up/Intifada and DO SOMETHING!
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

Using the Internet to Shop and Buy the Best Rugs From Across the World
A large variety of rugs are available in the market; the types include Oriental rugs, contemporary rugs, and Exclusive Pattern Rugs among many other types. Each type of rug has its own specialty. Some are hand woven and present some very good patterns. Others are produced on machines and are comparatively cheaper that handmade.
If you go to the local market, you do not get enough range to choose from. They have some pieces from different categories of the rugs. Some may not even have the kind of rugs you want. Roaming around from one store to another will take up time and at the end of the day, you will either come home without purchasing anything or purchasing a substitute. Purchasing rugs involves several basics that you should know.
Wholesalers and Retailers
One of the best options is to shop online. With the rug manufacturers going online, you can find a whole lot of rugs. For bulk orders, you can get on to the manufacturing unit’s website and have an opportunity to bag the lot at the factory price. You may or may not have to pay shipping charges. It depends on how much you order or how far the unit is from your home.
Other than the manufacturing units, the retailers and wholesalers also have their presence on the internet. You can not only check out the retailers in your own city, but also across the countries. This means that you can find some exceptionally cheap prices!
Prices and Margins
Those who deal in rugs, order in bulk from the country the rugs are manufactured from and thus save on the shipping charges. They then levy the extra charges plus margin to sell it to you when you go to purchase the rugs physically. This means you are giving an opportunity to make more profits to the retailer.
Internet Research
A focused research on the internet does make a difference. Internet information is supported by the reviews of the customers so you can trust these. Visit the different stores on the internet. You can search by types or categories i.e. oriental, contemporary, exclusive pattern rug or any other category. You can also search by the cities and states. If you intend to buy these rugs in a substantial quantity, you can check out the wholesalers too. While you can Google your requirements, it is better to use the online yellow pages of an entire state or county. “The yellow pages” offers you the location information as well.

Alternative Treatment for Bacterial Vaginosis – Treat Bv Naturally
Alternative treatment for bacterial vaginosis is a much better option than using antibiotics or expensive over the counter remedies. To understand why this is, it is vital to understand the nature of bacterial vaginosis.
In the vagina, there are two types of bacteria which, under normal circumstances, co-exist in harmony. The “good” bacteria (Lactobaccilus) keeping the “bad” bacteria (Gardnerella) in check. If something happens to upset this natural balance, there are times when the good bacteria simply cannot work effectively enough to prevent an overgrowth of the bad bacteria and an excess will cause the typical symptoms of bacterial vaginosis which include itching, burning, soreness, a white/gray watery discharge and, of course, the offensive fishy odor.
There are various reasons why the bacteria might become imbalanced and these include over-washing, a change of sexual partner, douching, using perfumed products on the vaginal area or even simply being “under the weather”. Indeed in many women it is difficult to pinpoint exactly what the cause is. What is known though is that whilst antibiotics will treat the symptoms and kill off the bad bacteria, they do not treat the cause and so if that “cause” is still present when the antibiotics have finished working, the inflammation will return. In addition, as antibiotics kill off <b>all</b> bacteria-both good and bad, once bacteria begins to naturally repopulate the vagina, the good bacteria will not be of sufficient strength to keep things under control.
<u><b>This is why over 70% of women who are treated with antibiotics will have a repeat attack of bacterial vaginosis within a few weeks of finishing the course</b></u>
Over the counter remedies can give symptomatic relief, but like antibiotics, they do nothing to treat the root causes and can be very expensive. Many simple alternative treatments can give similar relief at a fraction of the cost.
One of the problems with alternative treatment for bacterial vaginosis is that a quick search on the internet can reveal many different natural remedies and much “helpful” advice by so-called experts-so much so that you cannot be sure what will work and what is useless. As good alternative treatments tend to use a carefully balanced combinations rather than just one solution, it is vital that you ensure that you have a reliable, tried and tested, surefire way which you know will work.
For example, some alternative treatments might include the use of live, natural yogurt, but there is conflicting advice as to whether it is better to eat it or insert it into the vagina via a tampon. Garlic is also a good natural remedy for BV-should you eat it raw or take it in tablet form? Cider vinegar can be helpful, but exactly how much is the right amount to put in a bath?
Natural treatments can help strengthen the immune system, giving the body the ability to fight and kill the bad bacteria present in the vagina. A good alternative treatment for bacterial vaginosis will work very quickly-often much faster than antibiotics and you will begin to feel relief right away. If you would like further helpful information on the best treatments available, I can highly recommend 3 natural treatments which are completely guaranteed to work. All include strategies to get rid of the symptoms immediately and offer a complete cure within 3 days. Please visit Alternative Treatment For Bacterial Vaginosis for details.
