This is just but one example of the real cost to Americans of maintaining its empire overseas and it cries out for more transparency and oversight. Here we go again. Alex just doesn’t seem to like these calls. I thought it was quite odd that this part is missing from the? Alex Jones’ channel upload for 08-08-2010 – what’s up with that? It was also extremely difficult to get from prison planet; there was no wmv for that day and the mp4 was jacked. Why doesn’t Alex cover Rod Class and friends serving 541 Congress members notice that they are doing buisness as a corporation and it’s going to be brought b4 the Hague? Alex always said to do our own research so I’m just asking questions here. By the way, the congress critters are all in default including Ron Paul. As much as I have always loved what Ron Paul has stood for, he works for the corporation. Why doesn’t Alex cover that?

What are ways the Constitution does not protect us from tyranny?
13th Amendment. Abolishes slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime.
Therefore, the US govt could arrest all citizens for a crime, possibly even under the Patriot Act, and then make us all slaves to the state.

Yes. We are under constant tyranny from big business for one.
The constitution does not say WHO determines if a law is constitutional, the courts have assumed this role, but it’s not clearly given to them. Now we are under a tyranny of 9 unelected lawyers whose word is final and unappealable. The constitution does not provide for this but in being vague, it left the door wide open.
Aren’t Liberals and Conservatives both guilty of Empowering the Government to Tyranny?
Conservatives empowered the Government with the Patriot Act.
Liberals like Obama resign it.
Liberals empowered the Government to Force people to buy Health Insurance
I can safely bet Conservatives won’t repeal this.
Conservatives surged in Iraq and Liberals disagreed.

This Liberal/Conservative nonsense isn’t all that different, they both do the same thing and are weak in opposition. They never really take power from the Government, they just empower it. Who else feels that we are on the road to Tyranny? Read quotes of Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.
Yes it is the exact same in the UK. Both political parties have played their part on the road to tyranny. I think this is proof that it is the same people behind the scenes and we are getting closer to an evil one world government.
Is the FCC trying to censor the alternative news and free speech on the internet?
I heard a rumor that the FCC wanted to put a peice of hardware, maybe like a proxy server, to regulate, filter, and monitor internet traffic. Is this a violation of the 4th amendment? I think that if a person is caught doing something wrong then perhaps this is fine. but to do it like this, I think is wrong. please dont sideball the question and bring up the patriot act. i think that is unconstitutional and a violation of the 4th amendment also. i just want to know more about this move by the obama appointed FCC chairman. or any other details anyone has to offer.

I am aware of emails, attachments, and cryptography, stegnography, SHA-1, PKI, Rijndael, AES, and many other technologies. Not to mention the military grade COMSEC equipment I have used to implement encryption. I am a security professional. This is not new to me. Unfortunately, you are wrong in thinking it would cost the government billions. It would cost the taxpayer billions and the internet users billions. Its simple. A device would be put inbetween the internet user’s home and the ISP. Yup, you guessed it. The internet user would have to pay for that device and additional taxes; I am sure, if this were in place. there are politicians moving to make this provision. If people dont like it, they need to get off there duffs, call, email, or mail a letter to their congressman and tell them they dont want censorship. This is America! Land of the free! If a person is suspected of illegal activity and only WITH a warrant should that person’s activities be monitored. this is in accordance with the 4th amendment and the Patriot Act. What is the difference between a police state and martial law?
Is it when the military declares a dictatorship on Americans or is it something else. I’m a little concerned. I’ve read web pages that suggest that Prez. Obama want’s America to become a police state. What do you think?
We are in a police state. By this I mean we are being observed and monitored at all times. Sitting at home on the computer, the intermittent location of your cellphone, power usage monitoring, all these things are transmitting data that IF someone wanted to put you under surveillance, the passing of the Patriot Act allows them to throw the switch and do so without having probable cause or warrant to do so.
The PATRIOT Act is the single most offensive attack on your Constitutional Rights ever implemented. It was disguised as a form of protection from terrorists, but in reality it doesn’t nothing of the sort.
Martial law however, if you become familiar with the Executive Orders that Obama and previous presidents have signed you will understand clearly the difference between a police state and Martial law.

When the President declairs Martial law, he is at that point becomes a Dictator, with the power to decree orders that otherwise would have to be agreed upon by the checks and balances our fore father s set in place to stop such an act. This is how President Bush was allowed to issue WAR without the approval of our Congress.
